How did Krafted by Kasey begin?

Hello, I am Kasey, the woman behind Krafted By Kasey! I am a mum of one to our beautiful rainbow baby, furr-baby mum to 2 fluffy dogs and proud owner of Krafted By Kasey.

When Covid-19 hit and we were all forced to isolate in a lockdown, myself like many others really struggled to cope, my family have always been my greatest support network so being unable to visit them or do any normal activities started to take its toll. I have Bipolar Affective Disorder and I have always used arts and crafts as a way of managing my mental health. When I am manic I can create for hours and get lots of new product ideas and love experimenting and trying new things, and when I am having a depressive episode having something as a distraction and to focus on can really help. I had started to see some videos about Epoxy Resin on social media and decided I wanted to have a go. It started off as A LOT of trial and error as I learnt different techniques and what not to do. My family as always were really supportive and suggested I look into selling the items I make. I began operating my business along side being a university student and having a full-time job as a carer. I loved making the different products and the variety of products I could make kept growing. Then I decided I wanted to try something else new and began practising making wax melts and other home fragrance products. In 2022 I got the wonderful news that me and my partner were going to have a baby, when our beautiful rainbow baby arrived I decided that I wanted to go full-time with my business where I can enjoy all of his first moments whilst building something that I love. I had always ran my business around other commitments which made it difficult to keep up at times. I regularly do pop-up events across the UK and I am so happy that I am doing what I love without missing out on my babies development.

Since going full-time I have had the time to bring new products to the ever-growing list such as personalised goods, I have built this website and I am creating a programme where individuals across the UK can sell these products and earn commission, so that more people like me can have the flexibility of being able to work from home, around any current commitments and be able to provide for their families while enjoying themselves.

I honestly feel so happy that I am where I am and that I can help others while doing something I love, and I have every customer to thank for that!
